Stories of teenage love and heartbreaks has earned her the acclaim of many within the 21st century. Swift showed an interest in music at an early age and she progressed quickly through roles in the children's theater and her first public appearance in front of an audience of thousands. The moment Swift performed The Star-Spangled Banner in front of an Philadelphia 76ers match aged 11 she had already begun making songs. The next year she started playing the guitar. Swift wrote original songs that was inspired by country stars like Shania Twain (now known as the Chicks) and Dixie Chicks. Her material was a result of her own experience as in the tween years. Swift's family moved into Tennessee from Pennsylvania at the age of 13, so that she could spend more time exploring popular country music labels in Nashville.
