Andrea Navedo

Andrea Navedo was born in the US and has written a number of books. She first appeared in soap-operas like One Life to Live and Guiding Light. In later years, she played a number of roles in supporting roles. Andrea Navedo (born 10 October 1978 in The Bronx, NY) is an American actress and singer. Navedo started her professional acting career in dramas for daytime. She starred in the ABC soap show One Life to Live as Linda Soto from 1995 to 1997. She joined the CBS soap Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. Her debut film was in the role of Girl 6 in 1996. Later, she appeared on the shows New York Undercover, and The District. Navedo was a part of Double Take in 2001 and Washington Heights the next year. Navedo was a regular actor in the NBC drama series Law & Order between 2001 to 2004, as the role of Detective Ana Cordova. Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages followed, as did Blue Bloods. Navedo played in a range of movies including El Cantante (The Cantante) and Remember Me. From 2011 to 2013, Navedo also had recurring roles on How to Make It in America Golden Boy and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Navedo was a part of the comedy film Superfast! The Fast and the Furious parody released in 2015 was a parody of the Fast and the Fast and the Furious film series. Navedo first began her profession as an actor in the daytime dramas. From 1995 to 1997 Navedo portrayed Linda Soto in ABC's One Life to Live. She was also cast in Guiding Light, a CBS soap opera, with the character Theresa Sandoval. The film debut of her was in a small role on Girl 6 (1996). Then she appeared as a guest on the episodes New York Undercover, The District and The District. Navedo played as a character in Double Take (2001), an action comedy.
